Mika - A natural showman

X Factor starlet Diana Vickers opening for the flamboyant Mika. Diana, a bundle of excitable energy whose outfit made national newspaper headlines, wowed the crowd with a confident set. She later tweeted “WOW eden project was AMAZING!!! Mika live was INSANE. SMASHING set!”

Mika came out next and delivered the most elaborate stage show Eden has seen since Alison Goldfrapp came rolling into town. We had big inflatable shoes, a parade of people wearing bizarre outfits plucked out of the audience, over-sized cartoon flowers being thrown into the crowd, a seemingly endless stream of costume changes and, of course, Mika’s unique pop anthems. The youngest crowd we’ve ever hosted made a lot of (high-pitched) noise and the feedback on the @TheEdenSessions Twitter was overwhelmingly positive.
