For greener schools

The Eden Project's Climate Revolution programme is helping EDF Energy to shape The POD, a web-based schools programme designed to show schools and parents how they can minimize their impact on the environment and help promote a sustainable future.

The POD complements Eden's Climate Revolution programme in a number of ways. Carrying a range of modules that are linked to core elements of the National Curriculum, The POD also gives schools the opportunity to make real and effective change themselves.

Schools will be able to record their progress on The POD as well as keep track of the energy and water they've saved since joining the programme on their own 'Podmeter'.

The POD also provides space for schools to share their best (and worst!) experiences and ideas via their own blogs and videos.
